2009 Fracs @ APMEX
 

I am really liking the 09 fracs, and would love to pull the trigger on a few 1/4 & half Oz's now. But, click on the video and read the paragraph or click on the more button... or just see the below click & pasted APMEX comment regarding purchasing them.

I did wonder why APMEX couldn't just refund everyone's money. I also wondered if the Mint insinuated to their dealers that these might not make. APMEX is the only place I have seen any doubt about these being produced.

Gainesville Coin did a pre-order as well, but did not actually offer them for sale like APMEX did. I mailed a check to them and got an email today that they have received my payment. I guess we'll see what happens next. Getting the same amount in other form is OK, but I was banking on very low mintage on these GAE fracs for possible resale.

I emailed them and said Id like to buy the 09s but have no desire to have the others given in the event they dont maket them, their reply was we fully expect the mint to make them buttttttttttttttttttttttt.

I wouldn't count on a low mintage, just look how they sandbagged everybody on the buffs. They probably have a million of each just waiting to ship out.

Me too and it's exactly why I went looking for them, but... 1981 is probably 88% correct. Nonetheless, aside from the UHR's I don't see any other coin out today with a shot at low mintage!

Well, what's the consensus if these are going to be minted or not? I would assume that APMEX will still honor their sell prices, despite the current POG.

Over $300 for a 1/4 ozt Eagle? A seems a little bit like rape in my opinion. SSOO, thank you, thank you, thank you.
